Kreuzau Castle is located in the centre of Kreuzau, near the 'Rur- Bank- Cycle Path'. The plain two-part castle facility made with red sandstone was constructed in the 17th and 18th-century. A combined coat of arms on the archway remembers the former owners, the 'von Raesfeld' and the 'von Walrave'. Today it is privately owned and is being used agricultural.
