The 35 ha large game park in Schmidt with its 5km long hiking path is ideal for a family outing in nature. All year round, you can see not only fallow deer, mouflons, red deer and wild boars, but also small beautiful lakes with fish, ducks and geese. A tree and plant learning path enables visitors to understand nature better.

Lots of benches are ideal for taking a rest or have a picnic. A petting zoo with goats, donkey, llamas, ponies, potbelly pigs and other small animals gives you the chance to experience these close-up. There is also a small cafe at the entrance to the game park. It is open all year round.
